Realising the need for authorised government representation to help coordinate the activities of the readymade garment industry, the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) was incorporated in 1978 under the Indian Companies Act by the Government of India.
The Council is committed to stimulating growth in both quantity and quality of garment exports. To achieve this goal, the Council offers exporters with technical assistance, advice, information and seeks to open up new marketing avenues.
